This general election will be one of the most important in Scotland’s history. Together we have the opportunity to escape Brexit, lock the Tories out of office and put Scotland’s future in

Scotland’s hands. Here’s what you need to do to make sure you’re ready to vote on THURSDAY 12 DECEMBER. 1. FIND YOUR LOCAL POLLING STATION You should be able to see your local polling

station printed on the ballot card you received in the post, but you can also check the location by entering your post code on the Electoral Commission website. It is not necessary to take

your ballot card to the polling station. 2. WORK OUT HOW TO GET TO THE POLLING STATION POLLING STATIONS WILL BE OPEN FROM 7AM TILL 10PM. If you’re working during the day it’s worth planning

when and how you’re going to get there. Some Scottish seats are the tightest contests anywhere in the UK – whatever you do, don’t miss your chance to vote. 3. BE PREPARED FOR ANY WEATHER The

weather can be unpredictable at this time of year. Scotland could see some showers during the course of Thursday, but there’s no snow currently predicted except on the tops of hills. If

there’s poor weather, it might be worth checking if elderly friends or family members have been able to get out to vote. 4. THINKING TO VOTE TACTICALLY? CHECK YOUR LOCAL SEAT Labour and the

LibDems are trying to convince voters they are best placed to take on the Tories – but in Scotland that simply isn’t the case. FACT: THE SNP IS THE MAIN CHALLENGER IN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE

13 TORY SEATS IN SCOTLAND.  To lock Boris Johnson out of power, every tactical vote has to go to the SNP.
