lobbying and provide training for person with Autism and their care givers. We will collaborate with National Federation of Disability Nepal (NFDN) Timeframe and/or implementation plan (75

words limit) It needs continuous lobbying. Needs strengthening anti-discrimination laws, policies and strategies; enable the full participation and leadership of people with Autism in all

aspects of life; and shift the underlying harmful attitudes, behaviours and norms that limit them and their families. COMMITMENTS FOR INCLUSIVE EDUCATION Please select the category which

words limit): This has been prioritized area of work of our organization , we continue to Capacity building: teachers and staff – Community, Head Teacher, Teacher and Assistant training and

capacity building to introduce, deliver and sustain school wide inclusive education and pedagogic practice. - Department of Education would be important partner. Timeframe and/or

have supported its development (75 words limit): Autism is highly mariginalized and grossly less understood Disability. We would like to support Government and others to generate disability

disaggregated data in programmes, census, household surveys or administrative systems. Timeframe and/or implementation plan (75 words limit) We will lobby to enhance better understandinfg of

Autism so that they can get accurate recognition to this condition using Washington group question. If there is need to train innumerators, AutismCare Nepal Society will be willing to take

limit): Timeframe and/or implementation plan (75 words limit) Girls and women with Autism are grossly prone to abuse and violence , we will educate girls for self protection and defence. G.

limit): I am mother of boy with Autism, I have been strong advocate in bringing up Autism issues in the Radar of relevant stakeholders to influence policies and services . It is invisible

disability and relatively marginalized one in Nepal . I will continue to lobby and advocate for the Rights of person with Autism in Nepal. Back to top
