Traveling to Dodger Stadium proved hazardous for this one Yankees fan’s health Friday night. Ricardo Aquino of Mexico City alleges a piece of concrete fell from Dodger Stadium and struck him

in the back during the Yankees’ 8-5 loss to the Dodgers in a World Series rematch, The Athletic reported. Aquino held a sizable piece of debris that allegedly fell from the top tier at the

old stadium in a photo posted by the outlet, and a friend told the publication he was in pain. He reportedly received medical attention. “He’s in some pain, but all it was, was the hit. He’s

not bleeding, but he’s in some pain,” Alvaro Baeza told The Athletic while translating an interview with Aquino. Security guards and one police officer reportedly visited with Aquino after

attended to, per the report. Multiple fans corroborated Aquino’s account. “Me personally, to see some rocks fall like that,” Lewis Loy of Wilmington, Calif., who was sitting behind Aquino,

told the outlet, “I would be clearing out this whole area. How do you know it’s not going to fall anymore? … It could have hit a kid.” Added Jessica Coria of Los Angeles, who sat in front of

Aquino: “I thought someone had thrown something and then I was like, ‘We should get security,’ and then (Aquino) showed us the rock, and it was clearly from the stadium that fell on him.”

The Dodgers could not offer much on the situation as of early Saturday morning. “We are aware of the report,” the Dodgers told the publication. “We cannot say anything more until we have all
