AS THE OASIS REUNION TOUR DRAWS CLOSER, FACE-VALUE RESALE PLATFORM, TWICKETS HAS ISSUED NEW STATS ON HOW MANY TICKETS HAVE BEEN SOLD THROUGH THE SITE JENNA CAMPBELL What's On Editor and
EMILIA BONA Content Editor 12:07, 30 May 2025 As the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour approaches, fans who missed out on tickets have been given a glimmer of hope. The band is set to
embark on the first leg of their world tour this summer, with performances scheduled in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. Oasis Live '25 will mark the first time the
Gallagher brothers have shared a stage in 16 years. Digital marketing firm, ahrefs, has revealed that the hunt for tickets is far from over, with 'Oasis tickets' being searched for
485,000 times per month in the UK. In response to this demand, face-value resale platform Twickets has released statistics on ticket sales through their site, reassuring fans that
there's still a chance to secure a spot at the shows, reports the Manchester Evening News. However, they're also advising fans to steer clear of unauthorised resale platforms and
to only buy and sell tickets through the tour's official partners. Richard Davies, founder of Twickets and the official resale partner for the Oasis tour, warned that profiteering from
fan loyalty is still rampant on unauthorised sites, despite the best efforts of artists. Article continues below He said: "While some resale websites may appear to offer hundreds of
tickets, fans should be extremely cautious, warned Davies. "Many listings on these sites are speculative, the seller doesn't actually have the tickets yet, or worse, they're
entirely fake." Speaking on snagging what seems like a bargain, the founder cautioned: "It can be tempting to snap up what looks like a great deal, especially when demand is high,
but if it seems too good to be true, it usually is." Since its launch in 2011, Twickets allows sellers to list their event tickets for free via the app and site, with a human moderator
vetting each one before they go live. On top of that, buyers are charged a modest average booking fee of 12.5%. Each purchase requires the buyer's consent to the delivery method
specified by the seller — whether that's an e-ticket, direct in-app transfer, postal service, face-to-face meet-up, or collection from a shop. Richard underlined the massive demand for
the event and noted that the platform has already come to the rescue of thousands, ensuring the safe resale and purchase of tickets. With notable partnerships under its belt, including
team-ups with both Noel and Liam Gallagher for their solo ventures, Twickets isn't new to supporting music giants; artists like Ed Sheeran, Elton John, and Stormzy have all used the
service. Richard is urging fans still eager to catch the tour to stay alert and patient in their quest for tickets. He said: "When looking for resale tickets, timing is crucial. Most
listings appear closer to the event, especially in the final week. "We often see last-minute listings pop up even on the event day itself. If tickets are marked 'accepting
offers,' that's often a great opportunity to negotiate and get a fair deal. "Being flexible and quick to act is the best way to land a ticket at a good price." Joel
Hawkins, 19, has snagged the first resale tickets for Oasis at Heaton Park on Twickets and couldn't be more thrilled for the July 11 gig. He said: "The tickets are for my
girlfriend and I, this is very special to us as we are both massive Oasis fans and have seen both Liam and Noel separately on their solo tours together numerous times. "I've been
an Oasis fan for as long as I can remember as all through my life I've grown up on their music through my parents and other family members whether that be in the car, at home, on tv or
at family parties. "That has led me to become a huge fan collecting their vinyl records and constantly listening to them now in my own car and every other chance I can get! "I
can't wait to be part of that crowd in Heaton park I've watched hundreds of videos of past Oasis gigs and the crowds and atmosphere always looks absolutely incredible they're
always so packed and constantly bouncing and that's something that I've always wanted to be part of so to be able to say that in July I'll be there in the middle of it all
still doesn't feel real to me. Article continues below "I can't wait to finally be able to see both brothers singing together on songs such as 'Acquiesce' as
it's one of my favourite ever songs and finally seeing them sing together again will be surreal." The Oasis tour is set to commence in Cardiff on 4 July, before moving on to
Manchester for a five-night stint. The global tour will wrap up in Brazil on 23 November.
