May 2025 Andy Robertson hopes Trent Alexander-Arnold's contributions to Liverpool's successes are remembered 'as they should be' in a clear message to the club's

supporters. Alexander-Arnold will make his final appearance for the Reds in Sunday's Anfield meeting with FA Cup winners Crystal Palace, after which the Reds will lift the Premier

League trophy. This season's title success is the second for Robertson and Alexander-Arnold, who have won eight major honours together ever since becoming first-team players under

Jurgen Klopp in 2017. Alexander-Arnold had made his debut the previous year having emerged from the Reds' academy, while Robertson slowly ousted Alberto Moreno to become

Reds' defence Alexander-Arnold and Robertson have become two of the finest attacking full-backs in world football. England international Alexander-Arnold has chalked up 86 assists for

the Reds in all competitions, while Scotland captain Robertson has 67. They are the two highest assisting defenders in Premier League history with 64 and 60 respectively. The two have also

struck up a close bond off the pitch, and Robertson has paid tribute to Alexander-Arnold on Instagram in a pointed message which appeared to reference the boos that greeted his friend's

appearance off the bench in the recent draw with Arsenal. Robertson wrote: "My brother, where to even start! It has been an absolute privilege watching you grow from a boy to a man

over these last 8 years. You have won it all and created amazing memories along the way. I want to thank you for constantly pushing me to new limits and setting the bar so high that I had no

choice but to follow. "You are going to be a huge miss around the training ground and an even bigger miss on the pitch. I hope all the hard work you have put into this club, the

moments you have given us and the massive contribution you have made are recognised as they should be….. Wingmen one last time." Alexander-Arnold will join Real Madrid this summer, with
