treat has landed on M&S shelves, which the store has described as a "UK first".

M&S revealed the unique new dessert on Instagram this week and it has since created waves of excitement across social media, with many shoppers claiming they are "running" to stores to get

their hands on the treat.

‌ In the treat's Instagram reveal, M&S explained that they had blended together their viral cookies with another popular dessert to create “some serious indulgence”.

‌ M&S already gained social media attention in November last year as the retailer shared the tip of warming up their cookies to create an "unreal" treat.

Now, the store has revealed that, in a "UK first" they have married together these well-loved cookies with cheesecake to create their brand new range of 'Cookie Cups'.

lucykatefrances, responded to the store's reveal saying, "Omg need to try".

The popular food reviews Instagram account, sweetreviewsuk, also added: "Wow, these look delicious!"

The 'Cookie Cups' range comes in three different flavours of raspberry and white chocolate, hazelnut praline and a flavour described as "extremely chocolatey".

‌ Posting to TikTok, one food reviewer, Emily Jade, shared that she had already managed to get her hands on all three of the 'Cookie Cups' and sampling all of the flavours she revealed which

was her favourite.

On the platform Emily tried all three of the 'Cookie Cups' before concluding, "M&S you've genuinely outdone yourself again. These are incredible".

One keen shopper, Megan Owers, suggested they were so excited to try the new treats that they were "running to M&S".

A second shopper, Millie, also suggested that they would be heading to stores to try the new dessert, as they wrote: "Why have you done this, now I have to go to M&S."

Article continues below A third, Skye Kavanagh, added: "These look unreal, defo need to get them all."

Some shoppers however have complained that they were unable to spot the new dessert in their local store, as one shopper, Stevie G, wrote: "Just drove to two M&S's and both sold out."
