Gogglebox's simon minty's life off-screen from own business to campaigning

televisions for over a decade, with many families coming and going over the years. However, most tend to stay for a while, and among those who have graced Channel 4 for several years are

siblings Simon and Jane Minty. They joined the Gogglebox family in 2021 and have since become fan favourites, known for their colourful homes and, of course, Simon's adept remote

control skills. Simon and Jane, who came on board during the show's 18th series, initially filmed Gogglebox from Simon's old flat, which fans will remember for its impressively

cope' When he's not sharing his opinions on the latest TV shows with his sister, 57 year old Simon, who was born with restricted growth, is a fervent disability campaigner. He

founded Sminty Ltd consultancy, which assists companies in enhancing their services for disabled individuals. His client list includes big names such as the BBC, HSBC and The Football

Association, reports the Mirror. In addition, Simon is an enthusiastic athlete and has participated in the World Dwarf Games. Last year, he competed in the javelin and shot putt events at

the 31st National Dwarf Games. Simon Rimmer, the beloved TV chef, recently took to Instagram to share his athletic endeavours with fans. Posting about his sporting attempts, he wrote:

"Really enjoyed both and my fellow competitors were supportive and fun. Javelin is hard; it has to land tip end first. Shot putt more straight forward." He continued, sharing a tip

he learned: "Turns out a loud grunt as you throw will gain you a few extra centimetres. No medals this time but happy to have competed and pushed myself out of my comfort zone.

#DSAmazing." Aside from sports, Simon also appears to be quite the globe-trotter, with his Instagram featuring an array of sunny snaps from locations including Barcelona and Berlin.

frequently posting pictures from different venues around the city. Moreover, alongside managing his personal social media presence, Simon runs another Instagram account with his sister Jane,
