PAYMENTS WILL RETURN TO NORMALITY THIS MONTH AFTER THE BANK HOLIDAYS IN MAY LED TO CHANGES 08:18, 01 Jun 2025 The Department for Work and Pensions payments people receive in June will return
to normal this month. The two bank holidays in May altered when people received their benefit payments. The DWP confirmed offices will be closed on Monday, May 26 due to the bank holiday.
This led to a change for anyone who would usually receive their benefit payment on this month. The DWP said: "To make sure people get their payment on a day when our offices are open,
arrangements have been made to make some payments early. "If the expected payment date is Monday 26 May then benefits will be paid early on Friday 23 May. If the expected payment date
is not shown, customers will get their money on their usual payment date.” The DWP also confirmed offices will reopen as usual on May 27. There are no scheduled closures to the DWP offices
throughout June, which means payments should be relatively the same to the date you first claimed your benefit. The only way your payment daye would be altered this month will be if your
usual payment date falls on a weekend. If this is the case, then the benefit will be paid on the nearest working day before. Article continues below Here are a list of DWP payments you may
