A Leicester bar has made it to the official shortlist for the highly-anticipated Gaydio Pride Awards 2025. Leicester's Big Brother winner has also been nominated for a top award at the
glitzy pride-filled ceremony. Rainbow & Dove, in the city's Charles Street, has been shortlisted in the Venue of the Year award category, supported by Skopes Menswear. Gaydio's
independent panel of four community judges have whittled down the nominations to an official shortlist which includes nominees across the country - as well as locally. The Gaydio Pride
Awards focus on regional and grassroots efforts, giving thanks to the unsung heroes within the LGBTQ+ community. The ceremony is returning for its third year, giving people the chance to
shine a light on those working tirelessly to create safer and more inclusive spaces within the queer community. READ MORE: Opening dates set for Leicestershire's new Starbucks and

honours the work of LGBTQ+ charities, people and organisations across 13 categories. Kriss Herbert, network content director at Gaydio said: “The Gaydio Pride Awards 2025 shortlist is a
testament to the incredible work happening across the UK to uplift and support the LGBTQ+ community. These individuals, charities, events, and organisations are making a real difference, and
we’re very proud to recognise their achievements. We can’t wait to come together and celebrate their impact at this year’s ceremony.” Judges on the night of the awards include former
Hollyoaks star Annie Wallace, the first transgender person to portray a regular transgender character in British soap opera history. Community campaigner, pride director and mental health
advocate, Char Bailey, is also on the panel alongside LGBTQ+ journalist Conor Clark and Zander Murray - the first openly gay player in the Scottish Professional Football League. The winner
of each category will be revealed on the night of the awards on Friday, March 14. More information and the full shortlist can be found online. We are now bringing you the latest updates on
