most accessible. Although many towns have train stations, some of the smaller villages on the coast are only accessible via car. And even the towns with train stations can have a very
limited schedule. You could also hire a coach to one of the larger towns and then hire a car or get a taxi to your location. For those in the north of England, you could fly to either Exeter
Airport or Cornwall Airport Newquay. WHAT IS THERE TO DO IN DEVON AND CORNWALL? For all those plant-lovers out there, the Eden Project is a must-visit which is home to one of the world’s
largest greenhouses and has become one of Cornwall’s most famous landmarks. Another place to visit is St Michael’s Mount which has become one of Cornwall’s most iconic images. The mount is
an island that can only be accessed from Marazion via a cobbled causeway that is only visible when the tide is out or via a ferry. It’s also topped with an abbey that was built by
Benedictine monks during the 12th century. St Ives is also home to the Tate gallery that has a spectacular exhibition space which is definitely worth a visit if you’re an art lover. Exeter
