Wilks, currently on loan at League Two outfit Accrington Stanley, has emerged as a target for Everton and Newcastle, according to Football Insider. Middlesbrough, under the management of
former Leeds boss Garry Monk, are also on the case. Wilks has scored three goals in 15 appearances for Accrington this term. The 18-year-old came through the youth ranks at Leeds and made
his senior debut for the club in the FA Cup defeat at Sutton United earlier this year. He is under contract at Elland Road until June 2019 after extending his deal in August. According to
_Football Insider_, Everton and Newcastle believe Wilks is destined for a big future in the game while Middlesbrough boss Monk is aware of Wilks’ talents, having worked with him at Leeds.
Meanwhile, Leeds have had an offer rejected for Lech Poznan winger Kamil Jozwiak. Jozwiak is out of contract at the end of the season but Poznan are reluctant to lose him before his deal
expires. The Polish club’s president Karol Klimczak said: “I can confirm that we got this offer (from Leeds), but I firmly believe that we are not interested in parting with Kamil in the
winter.”
