Ore oduba suffers 'challenging period' with wife amid family struggles

Ore Oduba, 34, who was crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion in 2016, spoke candidly about his marriage to wife Portia Oduba. The couple tied the knot in 2015 and are parents to their


two-year-old son Roman. The BBC host explained that life in lockdown with his other half was not easy and admitted they had to figure out if "we still liked each other". Ore


credited their baby boy as a source of "distraction" but added that he has also been the "source of every argument" between the couple. Speaking about his wife, Ore said:

to figure out how it was going to work, and if we actually liked each other. I think the answer is yes, but I can't speak for Portia." His wife Portia also agreed that things had


become "tense" during some moments but added they are "closer" now. "At the start [of lockdown] we said, 'This is gonna be so fun,'" Portia explained


to the same publication. "And then a few weeks in we started to look at each other and think, 'This is going to be long'. "It was getting a bit tense but we made it


through. We feel closer now and we learned a lot about each other." Portia reportedly met Ore at an event at Loughborough University where he studied. The couple are said to have first
