state core committee of ruling party BJP was held on Monday at the Assembly. During the meeting committee members discussed the names of probable candidates for Rajya Sabha election. Three


seat of RS from Rajasthan will be vacant on April 3 and the election will be held on March 23.     At the BJP state core committee meeting, suggestions were made on the caste equation  for


the Rajya Sabha elections and upcoming assembly elections. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and state BJP in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna have asked for suggestions from the committee members on


the basis of caste equations for probable candidates of RS polls. The members were told to be mindful of the probable caste equations and suggest names from those castes that can give a


boost to the BJP in the upcoming state elections.  In the meeting, a suggestion has came to gave RS ticket to a tribal leader. Rajya Sabha ticket was suggested for the tribal leader of Mewar


area in the meeting. After the meeting, State President Ashok Parnami said that the core committee discussed various organisational issues. Rajya Sabha elections were also discussed. There


were talks about probable candidates during the meeting. At the moment, the committee has not prepared the panel for probable candidates. Soon the panel will be made and sent to the central


BJP leadership. The centre BJP will take the final decision on the list of probable candidates.There are 11 members of the State Core Committee. It includes the State President, Chief


Minister Vasundhara Raje, general sectary (organisation) Chandrashekhar, cabinet minister Gulab Chand Kataria, Rajendra Rathore, Arun Chaturvedi, Yunus Khan, Union Minister Arjun Ram


Meghwal, CR Chaudhary and MP Om Mathur and Bhupendra Yadav. National Vice-President Om Mathur and state-in-charge Gopal Shetty did not participate in the meeting of the core committee. VIEWS
