Tickets for the 12-month tour across the UK and Northern Ireland went on sale this morning. Demand was so extarordinary that the the original 26 shows were soon selling out. Another 22 dates
were announced within hours. Despite the almost unprecedented run of 48 shows at the biggest arenas in the country, fans soon bombarded social media with fury when they were unable to
secure tickets. Angry comments blasted the immediate availability of resale tickets at massively marked-up prices. Fans directly accused some sites of withholding tickets on purpose, in
order to sell them on their own associated sites. Fans singled out sites like Ticketmaster, StubHub and Get Me In. There was also considerable frustration with lengthy queues. Fans
complaining that the Ticketmaster mobile website had crashed, or inexplicably failed to complete their transaction at the last moment. One wrote: "How can Peter Kay tickets go on sale
at 10am for £45 and the within 15 minutes be on an approved Ticketmaster resale sit for £770?" Another added: "Had Peter Kay tickets, literally put in my card details and pressed
confirm then TicketmasterUK decided it was unable to process the order." Numerous people posted the image of a Ticketmaster holding page. One woman wrote: "TicketmasterUK. 6 mins
of this and your mobile site crashing totally... cannot wait to see the Peter Kay tickets pop up on your disgusting mark up site." Another said: "Trying to get Peter Kay tickets on
TicketmasterUK. Waste of time. Odd how people reselling them on their sister site had no issues though." CHILDREN IN NEED: PETER KAY CONFIRMS CAR SHARE WILL RETURN The torrents of
comments continued, and the majority seemed to be directed at one major ticket seller. One said: "TicketmasterUK your website is a joke, it crashed before 10am. There goes the Peter Kay
tickets." Another fumed: "TicketmasterUK I think you need to do something with your policies regarding resale. Presale for Peter Kay is sold out and they are already on Stubhub at
twice the price. This is clearly touts buying to resell. No wonder folk can’t get tickets for anything!!" Yet another blasted: "What a rip off. Can't get on TicketmasterUK

and finishes in Liverpool on March 23, 2019. Express Online contacted the TicketMasterUk press office today but was told nobody was available for comment.
