2025 Love Island's Gabby Allen has bravely opened up about her harrowing health scare, revealing doctors warned she might never hit the dance floor again. The 33-year-old reality star,


who won the latest All Stars series alongside Casey O'Gorman, was diagnosed with scoliosis as a youngster and faced major surgery at the age of 11. Gabby spilled the beans on her ordeal


during Thursday's (May 29) episode of This Morning, sharing how her parents clocked something amiss with her back during a family getaway. She shared: "I was around 11 or


12-years-old and I was actually on holiday, my dad was teaching me how to dive and my mum was like 'wait a minute she's a bit wonky' then straight away when we got home they

revealed the stark reality that without the spine-straightening surgery - she could have been left unable to walk. The thought of not being able to dance again was what truly terrified her.


Gabby confessed: "As a young girl it didn't matter about walking, I needed to be able to dance because that's what I wanted to do," reports OK! She went on to describe


the nerve-wracking lead-up to her ten-hour surgery, where she was kept in the dark to spare her the fear. Gabby now sports rods through her spine, having signed off on the risky procedure


that carried the threat of losing her mobility. Opening up about her remarkable comeback, she shared: "I did have to learn to walk again but within six months I was dancing and won


ballet competitions nine months later and it's built my resilience." Fast-forward to the present, and Gabby has not only bounced back but also amassed a massive following as a


fitness influencer. Gabby revealed: "You can do anything and also because I was dancing at the time that was already in my discipline and I think that has been brought in now. I feel so


much better and stronger." She advises: "As long as you listen to your GP first and make sure that you're ok to do it, you can get strong and get back in there." Article


continues below The star then confessed: "When I was younger I was embarrassed of my scars and I wish I could tell my younger self now 'don't be embarrassed of your scars,


they're amazing it shows people how strong you are'." She continued: "So now that I do wear them with pride and wear them out all the time so I just want young people to
