WASILEWSKI WAS JAILED FOR A HORROR CAMPAIGN OF ABUSE WHICH SPANNED BETWEEN 2009 AND 2018. 17:26, 21 May 2025Updated 22:50, 22 May 2025 A serial rapist who claimed his need for sex was to
help a “medical condition” has been jailed for 14 years. Marcin Wasilewski was sentenced for a horror campaign of abuse which spanned between 2009 and 2018. The crimes against two
traumatised victims occurred in Paisley. Jurors heard how he pretended to one that he had a “medical condition that was alleviated by sexual intercourse”. The 43-year-old was also violent
with this woman and threatened her. He raped the victim as she sobbed while ignoring her pleas for him to stop. Wasilewski also preyed on her while she was asleep. The earlier woman also
suffered a similar ordeal. Wasilewski told her it was her “duty” to have sex with him. He also hid cameras under covers and inside a wardrobe to capture sexual contact with the woman and
took photos of her in “various states of undress” when she was asleep. Wasilewski was convicted of a total of 10 charges including repeatedly raping both women. Article continues below As
well as the jail term, judge Lord Armstrong at the High Court in Glasgow also ordered that the attacker be supervised for a further five years on his release. He was put on the sex offenders
list indefinitely. DON'T MISS THE LATEST RENFREWSHIRE HEADLINES – you can sign up to our free daily newsletter here
