Amanda Singleton is the managing attorney at Singleton Legal PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida. As an AARP family caregiving expert, she writes and speaks on financial and legal issues that

affect caregivers, a subject that has defined her personal and professional life since she was 30, when her mother was diagnosed with cancer and immediately required full-time care. The

experience left Amanda “emotionally, physically, mentally and financially devastated,” she says, but it also set her on a path to becoming an advocate for caregivers. Singleton Legal, which

she founded and now operates with her partner and husband, Ryan, counsels past, present and expectant caregivers. Amanda also founded and operates Caregivers in the Workplace, which trains

employers to better serve employees who are family caregivers.   CONNECT WITH AMANDA    Facebook   LinkedIn   TWITTER WEBSITE AMANDA'S LATEST COLUMNS THE DOS AND DON’TS OF CROWDFUNDING
