It’s fair to say that recent global events will have a long-lasting impact on Scotland’s social, economic and political landscapes. Whether it’s well-deserved recognition for key workers or
an increased awareness of injustices raised by the Black Lives Matter movement, Scotland’s emergence from lockdown presents an opportunity for us to do things differently. That’s why the
SNP’s Equalities Forum invites the entire membership to join in a series of online discussions during which we will explore everything from the barriers in public life, housing and transport
to the effectiveness of equality mechanisms in politics or the workplace. Our first online event, at 19:00 on Thursday 2 July, will focus on dismantling imposter syndrome: that feeling of
doubting your accomplishments and constantly comparing yourself to others. We will be joined by Christina McKelvie MSP, members of the Social Justice and Fairness Commission and many others.
It will be moderated by our Equalities Convener, Fiona Robertson. You can register for these unique events by clicking here: We look forward to you joining the discussion. _Jamie
Szymkowiak, co-convener of the SNP Disabled Member’s Group and the Group’s NEC representative._
