When Hurricanes Helene and Milton ripped through the Carolinas, Florida and other nearby states, they left a trail of destruction in their wake. Thanks to donors and matching funds from


AARP, nearly $1.5 million in emergency grants have been distributed. Through the work of the organizations below, donations helped those affected get immediate relief — including food, water
