Dr. June Griffith is a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Psychiatry and Geriatrics. Dr. Griffith graduated from St. John’s University with a BS in Pharmacy in 1991 and then Nova Southeastern


University with a PharmD in 2001. She served as the Clinical Coordinator at Barbados Community College for Pharmacy Training in 2002, then was a facilitator for the University of Florida


College of Pharmacy from 2002-2009 while working as a Transitional Care Pharmacist at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Griffith became a part of the TVAMC team in 2009 when she


joined the staff as a CPS and the PGY2 RPD. In her daily job, Dr. Griffith monitors Clozapine dosing, titration, and monitoring parameters. She also performs medication reviews for


inappropriate adverse drug reactions and to simplify drug regimens. She precepts P4 students, PGY1 residents and PGY2 residents in psychiatric and geriatric pharmacy. Dr. Griffith is also


responsible for revising drug administration policy, Clozapine Medication Monitoring Policy, reviewing/updating the PGY2 Residency Manual and Preceptor Manual, and is on the Clozapine


Monitoring Treatment Team. Dr. Griffith is a member of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP).  She also


completes Peer Reviews for the Mental Health Clinician up to four times per year. Outside of work, Dr. Griffith enjoys walking, cooking, traveling, swimming, and planting herbs and
