Saginaw , MI — Saginaw – Aleda E. Lutz VAMC is hosting a Veterans Day Celebration on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. located at the Main Medical Center’s Auditorium,
1500 Weiss St. Saginaw, MI 48602. The order of events are as follows: Healthy Kitchen Demonstration, followed by performances by Reese High School Band, special guests from Residential
Health, military branch certificates and a pinning ceremony. Additionally, there will be informational booths on VA programs available to Veterans. To wrap up the festivities, there will be
a social hour including lunch, dessert, and games. “I want to thank my staff in Voluntary Service, the staff in Whole Health and Veterans Experience, as well as our special guests and
community partners for making this event possible,” stated Adam Hayward-Lupo, Chief of Center for Development and Civic Engagement (formerly Voluntary Service). “We are truly excited to
honor all Veterans; They who selflessly signed a blank check for our freedom and liberties, pledging their lives and service to protect our rights and way of life.” The Aleda E. Lutz VAMC
in Saginaw, Michigan operates an 81-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation Community Living Center. It provides care to over 41,808 Veterans in a 35-county geographic area, from mid-Michigan
