Dr. Andrea Zartman is the co-director of the neuropsychology residency at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Dr. Andrea Zartman is a board certified neuropsychologist who serves as the


co-director of the neuropsychology residency at the Dallas VA Medical Center. She serves as the clinical director of the behavioral health team and practices out of the neuropsychology


consult team. She remains active in research and serves as the vice chair for the VA North Texas Institutional Review Board. She is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at


UT Southwestern Medical Center. At the national level, she has held various roles within the VA psychology training council, serves as an APA site visitor, and is currently the chair of the


Council of Chairs of Training Councils (CCTC). Accolades include the Early Career Award from the Association of VA Psychology Leaders. Dr. Zartman’s clinical interests include Parkinson’s,


dementia, and brain injury but she sees a wide variety of presentations through the neuropsychology consult team. Her research interests focus primarily on ecological validity of


neuropsychological testing and performance validity.
