the North Florida Hospital. This donation is part of the hospital's 24th Annual Holiday Tree Benefit, which aims to spread joy and cheer during the holiday season. The beautiful holiday
trees helped create a warm and festive atmosphere for families staying at the Fisher House, providing them with comfort and support during challenging times. The Gainesville VA Fisher House
is a welcoming place for families and caregivers of Veterans receiving care at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. Positioned on the medical center's campus, this beautiful home
offers temporary lodging in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Being so close to the hospital allows families to support their loved ones during difficult times. Kimo Ortiz, Fisher
House Manager spoke on the importance of community. “The Fisher House strives to provide a sense of comfort and community, this sense of community is important, especially during the
holidays, as it helps lift spirits and makes the difficult times a little brighter for those who give so much.” “Our partnership has been cherished by numerous Veterans families which would
have never thought of being in the holiday spirit since their loved one has been hospitalized.” said Ortiz. The longstanding partnership between North Florida Hospital and the North
Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System exemplifies the power of collaboration among community organizations. Together, they make a meaningful difference in supporting the Veterans who
bravely served our country. For more information on the Fisher House please visit: Gainesville Fisher House | VA North Florida/South Georgia Health Care | Veterans Affairs
