We are excited to share that on May 30, 2023, the Department of Veterans Affairs announced that it has relaxed the masking requirement at VA medical facilities, including all Montana VA

sites. Now, with the exception of high-risk areas, Montana VA facilities will no longer universally require masks in most clinical areas. Masks are still required for Veteran patients and

visitors in the following high-risk areas:   * Infusion clinics and its waiting areas,  * Emergency Department and its waiting areas,   * The Miles City Community Living Center (Residents do

not need to wear masks; staff and visitors are required to wear masks).  * Masking also continues to be required for those with a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 infection or other viral

respiratory infection. We fully support and respect the decision of those individuals who choose to continue to wear a mask. If any Veteran would like for their Health Care Personnel to also

wear a mask, please ask. Your well-being and access to safe, professional care are our priorities, and we are honored to serve you! For more information regarding COVID-19 policies at VA,
