Lakyn Hanson is the PGY2 Pharmacy Resident in Psychiatry. Lakyn Hanson, PharmD, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and her Baccalaureate
degree in Enterprise Leadership at the University of Iowa. She went on to complete her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the Nebraska Western Iowa VA Medical Center in Omaha, NE and received her
teaching certificate from the Pharmacy Residency Program Office and the Department of Veteran Affairs. Currently, she is a PGY2 Psychiatry resident at the Clement J. Zablocki VA in
Milwaukee, WI. Her main interests are in Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders with a goal of being the clinical pharmacy specialist for an inpatient unit or residential treatment
program after completion of PGY2. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks with her dog Gus, hiking, reading, and playing board games.
