The INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (IPVAP) helps Veterans and their partners who are affected by domestic violence such as physical, emotional, sexual and verbal abuse from

their spouse or partner. Intimate partner violence occurs when a current or former intimate partner (for example, boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse) harms, threatens to harm, or stalks their

partner/former partner. * Emotional IPV * Physical IPV * Sexual IPV * Threats of violence Some people experience only one of these forms of violence, while others may experience more than

one. IPV can be a single event or can last for many years. No matter what, no one deserves to be treated this way.  EVERYONE DESERVES TO FEEL SAFE If you are in danger and need help right

now, contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline or at 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) or TTY 1-. Or start a live chat. The VA Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Program offers guidance for you,
