Effective March 7, 2025, Mr. Raley serves as the Acting Director for Operations. On April 7, 2024, Darrell Raley was named Associate Director of Clinical Business Operations. In this


position, he is responsible for managing outpatient clinical services for Veterans in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina, which includes the Hampton VA Medical Center and


three community-based outpatient clinics. Before taking on this role, Mr. Raley was the Ambulatory Care Operations Director (ACOD-GPM) at the VISN 15 Heartland Network, where he oversaw


clinical practice management across seven medical centers and fifty-five community-based outpatient clinics. Mr. Raley has been with the VA since October 2010. He started his federal career


as a respiratory therapist in Oklahoma City, rose to the position of Chief of Respiratory Care in 2012, and moved through various administrative roles until he became Chief of Medical


Administrative Services in Wichita, Kansas, in June 2021. Mr. Raley hails from Oklahoma and holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Central Oklahoma and an associate


degree in respiratory care from Rose State College. He is also a graduate of the VISN 19 Leadership Development Institute and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives


(ACHE).
