NEED TO KNOW TO COMPLETE THE PRE-DISCHARGE CLAIM PROCESS To complete a pre-discharge claim, you must be available for a VA medical exam for 45 days from the date you apply. You’ll need to
have enough time to finish your medical exam in the country where you’re located, which may involve visits to several specialty clinics. YOU’LL NEED TO SUBMIT THESE DOCUMENTS WITH YOUR CLAIM
