2025: Login.gov and ID.me. For many years Veterans’ have asked VA to simplify the sign-in experience. Over the long term, going from 4 accounts to 2, provides a simpler experience, but it’s
not just simplicity, both ID.me and LOGIN.gov help VA to continue to meet requirements for improved federal security standards, and very importantly, to protect your—and all Veterans’
identities and benefits from scammers. Millions of Veterans have already successfully transitioned their sign in account, but the change is difficult for some Veterans. In this program, the
team covers some of the common theme’s VA has heard through social media and from Veterans directly. They also go over some best practices, and for those having difficulty, provide resources
