We are able to offer the new Moderna bivalent booster to patients and employees that received their last dose of vaccine 2 more months prior.  This is available at our 3 main locations at

Cheyenne VA Primary Care, The new Northern Colorado Outpatient Clinic, and the Loveland Community-based Outpatient Clinic.  We are also able to offer the original primary Moderna vaccine

2-dose series to patients and employees still wishing to obtain their Covid vaccination.  VA will offer Covid and flu vaccines through the Fall and Winter seasons.  Spouses, Caregivers, and

CHAMPVA recipients are also eligible for Covid vaccines under the authority of the SAVE LIVES ACT as supply and capacity permits. Employees interested should reach out to Occupational Health

as booster supply is limited due to high demand. WHY SHOULD I GET A BOOSTER SHOT?  The initial vaccine series remains effective in reducing the likelihood of infection and preventing severe

illness, hospitalization, or death among those infected. The purpose of a booster is to “boost” antibody protection back up when it has decreased over time. HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN

APPOINTMENT?  The Cheyenne VA Medical Center and the Loveland VA Clinic offers a Walk In clinic, Monday- Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Primary Care waiting areas. Please bring your

Vaccination Card. You can also request an appointment at your facility for your booster shot whether you received your initial series at VA or outside of VA. Please make sure to bring your

CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card! This is particularly important if your initial series was given outside of VA. CAN I GET THE FLU SHOT AT THE SAME APPOINTMENT AS MY COVID-19 VACCINE?

Yes! Flu vaccines are recommended for everyone and can be given during your same visit for COVID-19 vaccination.
