Birmingham , AL — The Birmingham VA Health Care System will host a Town Hall and outreach event on Tuesday, Nov. 14, from noon to 2 p.m. The Veterans Town Hall will be in the Birmingham VA
Medical Center 9th Floor Auditorium, 700 19th Street South, Birmingham. Veterans and their families, congressional and senatorial stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, local media
partners, and other organizations are invited to attend. Attendees are encouraged to use the free parking and shuttle service from the Veterans Clinic located at 2415 7th Ave. South,
Birmingham. Leadership from the Birmingham VA, Montgomery Regional Benefits Office, and the Alabama National Cemetery will provide updates and listen to stakeholders' thoughts,
concerns, and ideas. The meeting is an opportunity to build and strengthen the VA's commitment to ensuring service members, Veterans, families, and other beneficiaries have an
opportunity to share their experiences both positive and those experiences that can be improved. Seating capacity will be open to the first 125 guests. However, the Birmingham VA will stream
the event on Facebook Live and offer other guests an opportunity to watch from the medical center's dining area. The streaming address is Facebook.com/BirminghamVAHCS. VA Outreach
services and special program representatives will also assist Veterans, including VA health care enrollment and eligibility, VA benefits and claims assistance, patient advocate services, and
