For the past eight weeks, a small but determined group of Veterans has been learning the ins and outs of one of the nation’s fastest-growing sports — pickleball — at the Atlanta VA Health


Care System.


In a spirit of raising awareness for homeless Veterans, the Atlanta VA Health Care System hosted its annual VA2K Walk and Roll May 21.


A generous donation from a community partner made navigating the expansive campus of the Atlanta VA Health Care System easier.


The Atlanta VA Health Care System is honoring its over 5,000 employees for their service and commitment as part of Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW), May 4- 10.


Seeing how these guys keep pushing forward despite their challenges really motivates me. The volunteers who give their time so selflessly—it's just amazing. It really touches my heart


and keeps me coming back.


“This recognition is a testament to Dr. Marconi’s outstanding contributions, leadership, and the profound impact of his work,” stated the notice from ORD.


The expo provided Veterans and family members with valuable information and resources. Veterans with PACT Act claims received updates, Toxic Exposure Screenings were conducted, as well as


those needing healthcare enrollment, and ID cards were all serviced during the event.


Although they frequently work behind the scenes, our laboratory professionals play a vital role in every aspect of healthcare.


The atmosphere was filled with camaraderie as Veterans shared their own experiences and ideas for healthier eating.
