Ms. Ann Brown was appointed as the Director of the Atlanta VA Healthcare System effective May 3, 2019. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Brown served as the Medical Center Director of VA
Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. In addition, Ms. Brown has served as the Director of Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She also previously served as the Director of
the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV, Acting Deputy Network Director (VISN 9), the Associate Director for Operations at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in Nashville TN, and the
VISN 23 Business Office Manager in Lincoln NE. Ms. Brown held various positions at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System in San Antonio TX. Ms. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in
finance from the University of Texas in Austin, and a master’s degree in health services administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. She is a Fellow of the American College of
Healthcare Executives.
