A man was shot in the leg when he intervened in a fight in the East Village neighborhood, authorities said Sunday. The shooting took place around 4:50 a.m. Sunday near Park Boulevard and
Broadway, when the man approached a group of people fighting and intervened, according to the San Diego Police Department. He was subsequently shot in the leg and the suspects fled the area,
