In a fresh TIMES NOW newsbreak on Lalitgate saga, sources have said that the BJP has now sought papers on the 2014 memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between a Lisbon Hospital and

Rajasthan government to set up cancer center in Jaipur.  Last week TIMES NOW has revealed that former IPL chief Lalit Modi, who faces corruption charges, went to the same organisation, the

Champalimaud Foundation, to get cancer treatment for his wife Minal Modi.   The couple's visit to the Lisbon-based organisation happened in the first week of August 2014, while the MoU

was signed on October 2, 2014.  Endorsing the cancer center, Raje had then said that the deal would benefit the state hugely as it would help people who cannot bear hefty cost of treatment.

On August 4, 2014, Lalit Modi tweeted: "Just spent the day at The #Champalimaud centre for the unknown. The worlds most cutting edge cancer research centre" and "Hope you

don't ever need to go for treatment for cancer but if any of your friends or loved ones ever have to then http://www.fchampalimaud.org".  Now, there are questions being raise over

the MoU.
