October music review: shantanu moitra & abhishek arora weave magic with the tunes of this varun dhawan starrer

October Music Review&nbsp After delivering one chartbuster after another Varun Dhawan's October surprises with a very easy breezy kind of music. In fact, the music in Shoojit Sircar

movies has genre of its own. There are five songs in the music album of October. While Abhishek Arora and Anupam Roy composed one song each, Shantanu Moitra is the music composer of rest of

the three songs. The lyrics are penned by Abhiruchi Chand, Tanveer Ghazi and Swanand Kirkire. Armaan Malik, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Monali Thakur and Sunidhi Chauhan are the singers who

feature in the album. Let's find out if, with the music of _October, _Shoojit Sircar is able to recreate the magic like his previous films or not: THEHER JA The music of this love

ballad is composed by Abhishek Arora but what makes this track and instant hit with the listeners is the soothing voice of Armaan Malik, who was a fans choice, and the lyrics by Abhiruchi

Chand. The opening line, "Saal badla, Haal badla, Tere aane se, Zindagi ka khayal badla, Tere aane se..." sets the tempo of this track. And it's already a chartbuster. This

has a very depressing feel to it. Which works in the favour of the film. It's like a slow poison and will find its way into the playlist of music fanatics. Shantanu Moitra who returned

to film scene after two years is at his best. TAB BHI TU Crooned by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tab Bhi Tu which was touted to be the chartbuster of the album turns out to be big misfire. The song

composed by Anupam Roy and penned by Tanveer Ghazi seems quite forced in its approach. The "sad song" has no novelty factor to it. MANWAA The best song of album hands down.

Sunidhi Chauhan's voice provides right amount of gravitas that is required for this beautiful composition by Shantanu Moitra. The lyrics by Swanand Kirkire are soulful. I have a feeling

 Manwaa will surely be every music lovers go to song once the movie releases. CHAL Sung by Monali Thakur, Chal has quite a motivational feel to it. The song has right amount of quirk thanks

to Monali Thakur's voice and Shantanu Moitra's brilliance in the music department. The lyrics, however, by Tanveer Ghazi are average. [embedded content] VERDICT As expected

_October_ has quite a few good tunes to it. It has a good mix of genre and yet stays true to film's theme. These may not be the massy tracks but will work in a longterm unlike the usual
