Heather ChalmerKalgoorlie Miner The finale of this year’s Norseman Gold Fever Festival promises to be a fun-filled community weekend event with music, fire eaters, circus acts, a float
parade and vintage cars. Tonight rock band Riff Raff are at the Town Hall from 8pm to midnight playing a mixture of 80s and 90s hits. Saturday’s entertainment starts at 11am with a float
parade, and throughout the day there will be performances by Aboriginal dancers, Ricochet Circus and Zap Circus. Fitness fanatics can join in the 5km and 10km Horizon Power Gold runs which
start at 8am and offer prize money. Entry forms are available from Shire of Norseman, the high school and IGA, or register on the day outside True Value Hardware shop. All entrants will
receive a free goodie bag. At the festival there will also be street markets, a bouncy castle for children, an animal farm and camel rides. At 3pm, the first heats of the rock drilling State
championships take place opposite the Norseman Hotel. The festival concludes on Sunday with a bush breakfast, the presentation of the Norseman Arts Inspire Share Exhibition, and a nine-hole
