losing streak on the weekend, defeating the Wirramanu Tigers by five goals at Kununurra.


It was an emotional first win for the season for the Baby Demons who had only three players in their side older than 22.


Leading the Demons’ charge were 19-year-old centre-half-forward Reece Bedford and veteran forward Tom Polkinghorne, who both kicked five goals for the game.


Backman Damien Trancollino also played a pivotal role for the Demons, rebounding play out of the back line continually during the second half of the match.


The Halls Creek Hawks were back to their best against the Waringarri Crows, defeating the reigning premiers by 14 goals at Halls Creek.


The Crows managed only four goals for the game in what was their second loss in a row, leaving them sixth on the East Kimberley Football League ladder.


In other games, the Wyndham Crocs posted another big win, this time over the Timber Creek Lions, and the Ord River Magpies continued their stunning season defeating the Warmun Eagles by 21


goals at Kununurra.


The Kururrungku Roos defeated the Kundat Djaru Cats by five goals on Saturday.
