Sam JeremicThe West Australian An Aussie strongman’s attempt at a world record by pulling 16 cars full of people 5m was thwarted this week, when one of the vehicle occupants accidentally put
their foot on the brake. Troy Conley was attempting the feat as part of Car Pull for Kids, which helped raise $30,000 for Hyundai Help for Kids partners Little Wings, Sydney Children’s
Hospitals Foundation and Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia. Conley was inspired by his own experiences at the Children’s Hospital after rupturing his kidney when he was four.
However, his initial attempt at pulling the 25,000kg of weight was derailed by the accidental brake tap. He gave it another two goes, managing to somehow move the load 40cm, but was by then

Global Guinness World Record Day, but it wasn’t just about the record today: it’s about the cause,” he said. Hopefully the guilty brake tapper tipped in a few extra bucks... GET THE LATEST
