Twitter Brings New Camera Update, Lets Users Share Photo Stories 

Twitter, on Thursday rolled out an updte for its mobile application. The update has introduced a revamped version of the app camera, designed in a way that allows people to share photos and

videos more efficiently on the micro-blogging platform.

To access the new camera, one has to swipe left on his/her timeline, that allows you to take a photo or record videos. The new camera also gives you an option to go live on Twitter.

The Verge reported that this week itself, Keith Coleman, Twitter’s vice president of product, told reporters that the company wants to encourage people to capture more visual moments from

the world around them directly from the twitter app.

The live-streaming will be done by a Periscope extension as every other live on Twitter. Twitter had acquired Periscope in 2015. The live stream, however, gives an option of choosing between

either video or only audio.

Twitter has also added a bit of visual detailing to the photos or videos you post. You can add a location and a caption to the post. This is similar to posts made on Snapchat and Instagram

Stories.

The new feature will also give you suggestions on the tags and location.

The feature is a much appreciated move by twitter that has for long neglected the camera feature for a long time.

The Verge further quoted Coleman as telling reporters that the company plans to increase the pace of development on camera features in the coming months. Camera has become a crucial tool for
