New Delhi, April 25 (IANS) The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a fresh plea seeking a CBI probe into the CBSE paper leak case and re-examination. A bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra,

Justice A.M. Khanwilkar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud posted the plea for hearing next week. The plea filed by social activist Sanjoy Sachdev, moved the apex court seeking direction to strike

down the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) order to conduct the re-examination of the class 12 economics paper which was allegedly leaked last month. However the exam was

conducted on Wednesday across the country. The plea asked to order an enquiry by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in all the cases of paper leak in various states in order to the

fix the criminal liability of the Central government, the CBSE, Controller of Examination of the Board and the Director of CBSE and nexus involved. It said the order of re-examination

appears to have been issued in order to save the skin of real culprits within the CBSE or their subordinates or affiliates. Re-examination order was "bad in law" and "against

the principles of law of natural justice" as it was taken without the students being heard, said the plea, adding, the order penalises the innocent and harmless students without their
