The News Minute | February 28, 2015 | 6.24 pm ISTFinance Minister Arun Jaitley may not have been able to woo voters when he contested the Amritsar seat during the Lok Sabha elections, but he

appears to be rather creative at taking jibes. He is even quite literary about it.Budget day was a much awaited one and Arun Jaitley made the most of it by reciting a catchy poem early on,

to take a dig at the Congress. He said: Kuch to gul khilaye hain, kuch abhi khilane hain, par baagh mein ab bhi kaante kuchh puraney hain Some progress has been made, some is yet to be

realized, but there are still some thorns we have to bear, a not-so-veiled reference to the Congress’ past tenures in government. It is highly unlikely that the Congress appreciated

Jaitley's efforts or (possibly) talent, but his own party members loyally thumped their desks in support. TweetFollow @thenewsminute
