Kashmir valley is expected to receive more rainfall over the next five days with slight respite on Sunday. The forecast issued by the Srinagar Meteorological Centre said the rainfall is
expected on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. It said there are chances of reduction in intensity and distribution of rainfall on Sunday, a brief respite during the ongoing wet spell.
The centre said that “scattered to widespread” rainfall is expected in Jammu and Kashmir from today till Saturday “Its peak (will be) during 11th (Friday) night to 12th March (Saturday)
evening and reduction in intensity and distribution on 13th (Sunday),” the weather department said. It said there will be an “increase with scattered to fairly widespread” rainfall on Monday
