As CO2 levels in the atmosphere increase, so too does the earth’s sensitivity to the gas, according to new research conducted by the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies. The team
repeatedly ran a climate model, doubling the amount of CO2 over a 100 year period to predict how much the earth will warm. They found every time they doubled the CO2 levels, the model
responded even greater than before. The finding suggests CO2 emissions will be more dangerous in the future due to increased climate sensitivity. CO2 levels could double in the near future,
and within the next 50 to 100 years, potentially quadruple. Read more at NASA
