It is with great pleasure that we can reveal that the Nursing Times Awards for 2023 are now open for entries. The Nursing Times Awards are back and return to their annual home, the JW
Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London on Wednesday 25 October 2023. The awards bring together the nursing community to shine a light on the brightest talent in the profession
and recognise those of you making nursing innovative, patient-focused and inclusive. Arguably, it has never been more important to recognise the incredible contributions of you and your
colleagues. RELATED NEWS We want to highlight your innovation, perseverance and incredible work across 23 categories, covering a wide range of nursing specialties from mental health to
social care to children’s services. We will also recognise the individuals and teams who are truly exceptional, with standout awards for Nurse of the Year, Team of the Year, Nurse Leader of
the Year and new for this year, Midwife of the Year. Another new award for this year is Nursing in Primary Care, which pulls together criteria from several categories from previous years
with the specific aim of shining a light on nurses working in general practice settings. In addition, in recognition of an inspiring cancer specialist nurse who wrote regularly about her own
condition for Nursing Times last year, we have renamed a category in her honours, the Ingrid Fuchs Cancer Nursing Award. RELATED ARTICLES All of our award categories are designed to
recognise those who have gone above and beyond what is expected of them in their day-to-day role. The awards are open to entries from individuals and teams, or nominations from those who
wish to highlight a nurse or team who they believe deserves recognition. They provide you with the perfect opportunity to congratulate your peers, leaders and the brightest talent entering
