Care plans for HIV patients should take account of their employment status, a study has suggested. Care plans for HIV patients should take account of their employment status, a study has
suggested. French research on 478 HIV positive patients showed that a third had lost their jobs while of working age. One in five had been sacked and12% had not had contracts renewed,
authors said. Findings showed that women with full-blown AIDS or severe immune deficiency were more than four times as likely to lose their job as those with less severe illness, but this
