I had a call from a member that had just had a CQC inspection date announced. It was a routine inspection - the last one they had was in 2012, as part of the CQC's very first round of


practice inspections.


I spoke to our member and practice manager, who were both very nervous and not sure they had everything they needed in place. The first call was very long, they asked numerous questions


about what the inspectors would be likely to look at. We discussed areas such as:
