ABSTRACT MR. J. M. WILSON, Mathematical Master at Rugby School, has been elected Master of Clifton College, in place of Dr. Percival, elected President of Trinity College, Oxford. Mr. Wilson

has done very much for science at Rugby, and, although Dr. Percival is a difficult man to follow, and has done more probably than any head master for the teaching of science in schools,
