YELLOWSTONE PREQUEL 1923 IS SET TO RETURN FOR A SECOND SEASON AND ALEX ACTRESS JULIA SCHLAEPFER HAS ISSUED A 'DEVASTATING' WARNING TO FANS 12:00, 22 Feb 2025 Julia Schlaepfer, who

plays Alex on the Yellowstone prequel 1923, has given exclusive insight into what fans can expect from the show's second season. The Paramount Network and Paramount Plus will air the

series starting February 23. Season one ended with a dramatic twist as Alex and Spencer Dutton, portrayed by Brandon Sklenar, were separated. Despite their marriage on a ship and plans to

travel together, Alex finds herself back in England in a dire situation. Julia revealed: "I think we find her in such a broken place, she was this caged bird who broke free of that and

then was quickly caged once more. "Not only did she lose the love of her life, but she watched the love of her life kill another man in front of her which is a lot to process. Then

she's returned home and literally locked in her house by her family with so much at stake now. "I think it's a really terrifying thing for her and she's lost, she

doesn't know exactly how she's going to do it. She wants to get to Spencer as quickly as possible but I think without anyone around her she feels she can trust it's just a

devastating place we find her in." Fans are buzzing with theories about Alex's fate, some speculating she might be expecting Spencer's baby. When asked about fan speculation,

Julia commented: "Sometimes it's fun to see comments on social media and be like 'Hmm OK, you are going to be excited' or 'You're going to be

disappointed'. "While we were filming I just sort of tuned it all out and lived in a bubble but no, I love the fans so much. "It's such an honour that they are so

invested and it's such an incredible legacy to be a part of the Yellowstone universe. "It just makes me happy that they get excited about it and they want to know what's going

to happen but I do have to avoid it sometimes." She confessed to the Mirror US that even her parents, who are die-hard fans of the show, are desperate for spoilers. "They are like

'You can't tell us anything' but then they want to talk about it sometimes and I'm like 'Guys, I can't do this, I don't know what to tell you'."

In a chat with TV Line, Brandon Sklenar and Julia speculated on whether Spencer and Alex might hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet soon. Discussing how Brandon would take the news of

Alex's potential pregnancy, he revealed: "It would motivate him, you know? "He's really on a path of wanting to have a life with her and have her at the ranch, and he

definitely has to have children one day -because he has purpose, and he has something to live for, and he's just really hooked into that purpose. Article continues below "So,
