ALEJANDRO GARNACHO LOOKS ALMOST CERTAIN TO LEAVE MANCHESTER UNITED AFTER FALLING OUT WITH MANAGER RUBEN AMORIM AND A MOVE TO CHELSEA IS REPORTEDLY ON THE ARGENTINE'S AGENDA 10:59, 01
Jun 2025 Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho is targeting a £50million move to Chelsea this summer, despite interest from Napoli, reports claim. The Argentine forwards looks certain to
leave Old Trafford after falling out with Ruben Amorim, who is said to have told the player to find a new club. Garnacho was benched by Amorim for the team's 1-0 Europa League final
defeat to Tottenham and left out entirely for their final day of the season clash against Aston Villa. His manager reportedly told him "you better pray that you can find a club to sign
you". The 20-year-old was forced to take part in the club's post-season tour to Asia despite being expected to depart and made it clear he was happy to return - after posting a
picture of the airport runway with the caption "finally". Now Garnacho will be ramping up plans to leave United and Stamford Bridge is his No 1 choice, according to the Sun. The
Blues were linked with the player in January, with his agents even being spotted in the stands at a Chelsea game. A source told the outlet he wants to stay in England, saying:
"Alejandro knows the Premier League is the best in the world. And while he has had some good moments at United, he wants to establish himself as a world star. England is the best place
to do that and Chelsea have assembled a lot of good young players." READ MORE: David Beckham slams Man Utd stars for actions on Asia tour - 'It's not OK'READ MORE: Man
Utd target Matheus Cunha has already proven his attitude when joining ‘completely down’ club Garnacho publicly expressed frustration with Amorim after being dropped against Spurs in Bilbao
and didn't hold back as he admitted the team had a "s***" season. Article continues below "Obviously it's hard for everyone," he said after the defeat. Our
season was s***. We didn't beat anyone in the league. We lacked a lot of things. When you don't score goals, you always need more. "Until we reached the final, I played every
round. And I played 20 minutes today… I don't know. I'm going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next." His brother Roberto also joined him in hitting out at
Amorim, accusing the Portuguese coach of "throwing him under the bus". He said: "Working as no-one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two finals,
just to be on the pitch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus." It is claimed Garnacho's words did not go down well with some of United players, with the same source claiming he
"thinks he's the next Ronaldo" and "isn't quite as good as he thinks he is". Article continues below Garnacho joined United from Atletico Madrid as a
15-year-old and he has gone on to make 144 appearances for the club, scoring 26 goals. He has won the FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Old Trafford. _Join our new WhatsApp community
